Ingredients:

  • 2 carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 1 15-oz can white beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 ripe, fresh avocado, halved, pitted and peeled

Instructions:

  1. Place carrots in a vegetable steamer. Steam, covered, 15 minutes or until very tender. Drain and let cool.
  2. In a bowl, mash carrots, white beans and avocado until smooth.
  3. Serve baby 1 to 2 tablespoons mixture. Freeze remainder in 1 ounce ice cube trays.

Notes & Tips:

Speak to your child's pediatrician before adding solid foods to your infant's diet.
For a smoother mixture: Place in blender and puree, slowly adding liquid until desired consistency is reached.
