Ingredients:
- 1/2 ripe, fresh avocado, halved, pitted and peeled
 - 1/2 firm Bartlett or Anjou pear, chopped
 - 1 tsp. lemon juice, fresh squeezed
 - 1 cup water
 
Instructions:
- Place the avocado in a blender or food processor.
 - Rinse pear. Chop up half of pear and place pear in a small pot with 1 cup water and 1 teaspoon lemon juice. Bring to simmer for 5 minutes until pear is soft. Remove pear from water and place in the blender or food processor with avocado.
 - Blend until smooth.
 - Serve immediately or refrigerate in a covered container.
