Chocolate Truffle Super Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups unsweetened almond or coconut milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 4 dates, pitted (or sweetener to taste)
  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa powder
  • 1/2 ripe, fresh avocado, halved, pitted and peeled

Instructions:

  1. Blend all ingredients, except ice, in a high powered blender for several minutes until smooth.
  2. Add ice, blend to desired thickness, serve and enjoy.
  3. To save time and soften dates for easier blending, place all ingredients in the blender, except ice, in the fridge up 24 hours before blending.
