Amanda Sauceda, MS, RD, is a dietitian and a nutrition lecturer at California State University, Long Beach who is passionate about empowering people to embrace their unique path to wellness.

Amanda believes that wellness begins with good gut health and with listening to your body. She created The Mindful Gut® which is an approach that blends science and strategy to help people tap into their intuition and build gut-health habits that last a lifetime.

As a nutrition communicator & educator her goal is to give real life nutrition guidance that helps people feel better in their bodies, have fun with food (without giving up their faves) and find their way to a gut-friendly lifestyle.

Favorite way to eat fresh avocados? While I love anything avocado, my favorite way to eat it is pretty simple. A few slices of a perfectly ripe avocado, a sprinkle of salt, and stuffed into a bean burrito is my favorite way to enjoy them.
