Recipe Description:

Making a smoothie? Add avocado! They add creaminess to your favorite smoothie as well as fiber and other essential nutrients for gut health and more. This blueberry pineapple cloud smoothie with avocado is a delicious way to help support gut health.

  • Recipe serving size: 1 (12 oz) smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 ripe, fresh avocado, halved, pitted, and peeled
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/2 cup frozen wild blueberries
  • 1 cup unsweetened soy milk
  • 1 Tbsp. almond butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • Pinch sea salt
  • 2 Tbsp. unsweetened, plain Greek yogurt (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Add all of the ingredients except the yogurt to a blender and puree until smooth.
  2. Spoon the yogurt onto the insides of your glass and spread with a spoon to create “clouds”. Pour the pureed smoothie inside and enjoy.
