Easy Avocado Snack Halves with Toppings

Recipe Description:

Looking for a quick and easy snack idea? Cut an avocado in half and add your favorite condiment, then scoop bites of the avocado out with crackers. A 5-minute snack that provides filling fiber and healthy fats to keep you feeling satisfied.

  • Recipe serving size: 1 halved avocado

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe, fresh avocado, halved and pitted
  • 2 tsp. balsamic vinegar
  • Ground black pepper, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • Crackers to serve (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Slice avocado in half and remove the pit. Add 1 teaspoon of the balsamic vinegar to each of the avocado halves. Sprinkle with a dash of ground black pepper and salt.
  2. To serve, use a spoon or whole grain crackers to scoop out bite-sized pieces of the avocado.
