Ingredients:
- 1 ripe, fresh avocado, halved, pitted, peeled and diced
- 2 small tomatoes, seeded and chopped
- 1/3 cup white onion, chopped
- 1 medium jalapeño pepper, seeded and chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp. fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
- In a medium bowl, combine tomatoes, green onions, jalapeño pepper, and garlic.
- Gently fold in avocado and cilantro, if using.
- Serve slightly chilled or at room temperature with grilled chicken.
- To store, place a piece of plastic wrap directly on the surface of the salsa and refrigerate.
