Avocado Honeydew Smoothie

Refreshing and creamy, this quick and easy avocado smoothie pairs with sweet honeydew.

Ingredients:

  • 1 (6 oz. pkg.) Greek-style nonfat yogurt (honey or vanilla flavor)
  • 1/2 ripe, fresh avocado, halved, pitted and peeled
  • 1/4 honeydew melon, peeled, seeded, diced
  • 1 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • cinnamon (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Place yogurt, avocado, honeydew and honey in a blender in the order listed. With the blender on the smoothie or puree setting, blend until smooth.
  2. Add ice cubes to the blender and blend again. (Use the ice crush setting if available.)
  3. Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.

Notes & Tips:

Garnish with a sprig of mint or a lemon wedge.
