Avocado, Squash and Pear Baby Mash Up

Avocado combined with squash and pear provides new flavors and nutrients that make for a perfect start to your child’s culinary adventures.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butternut squash, diced
  • 1 very ripe pear, peeled, cored, diced
  • 1 ripe, fresh avocado, halved, pitted and peeled

Instructions:

  1. Cook squash in boiling water for 10 minutes or until tender. Drain and let cool.
  2. In a bowl, mash squash, pear and avocado until smooth. Serve baby 1 to 2 tablespoons mixture. Freeze remainder in 1 ounce ice cube trays.
