Recipe Description:
Deliciously rich and sweet like a traditional buttercream frosting, but without the butter! The pretty green color comes naturally from the avocado, so there’s no need to add artificial food coloring.

Ingredients:
- 1 ripe, fresh avocado, halved, pitted and peeled
- 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 lb. powdered sugar, sifted
- water (as needed)
Instructions:
- Place avocado, lemon juice and salt in the bowl of a stand mixer or medium mixing bowl. Mix on medium-high speed for about 3 minutes, or until the avocado is smooth and creamy.
- Mix in the powdered sugar a little at a time until it is in all incorporated. Beat on high speed until light and creamy.
- If the frosting is too thick add in water a few drops at a time until desired consistency is reached.
- Use immediately or store in refrigerator with surface covered by plastic wrap until ready to use.
