Ingredients:

  • 6 ripe avocados, halved, pitted and peeled
  • 1/2 red onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, grated
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled, diced
  • 1 to 2 habanero peppers, seeded, de-ribbed, minced
  • 4 limes, juiced
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)
  • 1/3 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, coarsely mash avocados, leaving some chunks.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and mix to blend.

Notes & Tips:

Guacamole is best made as close to serving as possible. For short-term storage, seal in an airtight container with a piece of plastic wrap against the surface of the guacamole.
