Ingredients:
- 2 large (or 3 small) strawberries, plus one additional strawberry for garnish
- 1/4 ripe, fresh avocado, pitted, peeled, and sliced in half lengthwise (one slice for muddling, one slice for garnish)
- 2 oz. fresh lime juice (the juice of ~2 limes)
- Lime wheel for garnish
- 1 oz. Tequila of choice (optional)
- Sparkling water to taste (approximately ¼ - ½ cup)
- Ice
Instructions:
- Place strawberries and avocado in the bottom of a cocktail shaker and use a muddler to crush the fruit, releasing the strawberry juice and mashing the avocado.
- Add the lime juice, tequila (if using) and a splash of sparkling water to the shaker, top with ice and shake briefly to combine.
- Strain into a lowball glass filled with ice, top with more sparkling water to taste, and garnish with a strawberry, lime wheel, and avocado slice.
