Switch up your smoothie routine and make this strawberry banana avocado smoothie bowl. You’ll make two different colorful smoothie mixtures with avocado and frozen fruit then swirl together in one bowl for a breakfast that is as pretty as it is delicious.

Ingredients:
Avocado Kale Mixture
- 1 large, ripe, fresh avocado, halved, pitted, and peeled
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1 cup baby kale leaves
- 1/2 cup unsweetened soy milk
- 1 tsp. lime juice
Strawberry Banana Mixture
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup unsweetened soy milk
- 1 Tbsp. chia seeds
- 1 tsp. Lime juice
Toppings (optional)
- Fresh berries
- Granola
Instructions:
Avocado Kale Mixture
- In a blender cup, add the avocado, frozen banana, baby kale, soy milk, and lime juice. Blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and set aside.
Strawberry Banana Mixture
- Rinse the blender cup then add the frozen strawberries, frozen banana, soy milk, chia seeds, and lime juice. Blend until smooth.
Smoothie Bowl
- Pour the avocado kale mixture on one side of a serving bowl and the strawberry banana mixture on the other side. Use a spoon to create a swirl pattern.
- Add desired toppings and serve.
Notes & Tips:
Feel free to substitute the soy milk with your milk of choice (dairy, oat milk, almond milk, etc).
If you don’t have frozen fruit, you can substitute with fresh but add a bit of ice to thicken the smoothie so that it can be eaten with a spoon.
