This protein-packed smoothie contains fresh fruit and nutrient-dense spinach with a lemony twist that makes it extra tangy and delicious!

Ingredients:
- 1 (6 oz. pkg.) plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1 frozen banana, peeled, broken in half
- 1 ripe, fresh avocado, halved, pitted and peeled
- 1 cup raw spinach leaves
- 1/4 cup fresh Italian parsley leaves
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 – 4 Tbsp. water, or as needed
Instructions:
- Place yogurt, banana, avocado, spinach, parsley and lemon juice in a blender in the order listed. Blend on high speed until pureed, pushing down the sides as needed. Mixture will be thick.
- With the blender running on medium speed and the lid on but the small opening uncovered, slowly add water 1 Tbsp. at a time until smoothie has reached your desired consistency.
